Why we love Alsace: Route du Vin
Outside of Colmar there is a string of picturesque wine growing villages running south to north (haut-rhin and bas-rhin upper Rhine and lower Rhine). This is called the route du vin (“veh”) or the wine route. Of these villages, a handful are among France’s Prettiest Villages. We also like to try to visit as many of these on our trips.
